Staff Data Engineer

The Staff Data Engineer will be responsible for architecting and scaling the data infrastructure to support product development, analytics, and machine learning, ensuring data reliability and compliance while driving technical excellence across teams.
Qualification
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields
- Proven experience owning platform-level architecture and strategy
- Deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt Cloud
- Experience with Change Data Capture frameworks and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt Cloud)
- Strong background in external data sharing and compliance
Responsibility
- Architect the next-generation data platform, optimizing Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and real-time CDC pipelines for enterprise scale
- Design secure, compliant partner data delivery systems via Snowflake shares, S3/SFTP integrations, and Marketplace listings
- Create mission-critical financial reporting pipelines with exceptional accuracy and reliability
- Establish company-wide data standards for modeling, lineage, contracts, and orchestration
- Champion data reliability, observability, and trust across all systems
- Conduct architecture reviews and build reusable frameworks
- Elevate engineering practices across Analytics, Data, and Engineering teams
