Italic is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant to support the preparation and staging of marketing emails. This part-time, remote role involves working closely with the COO to ensure campaigns are accurately set up and ready for deployment, emphasizing attention to detail and familiarity with email marketing platforms.
Qualification
- Experience with email marketing tools (basic Klaviyo is required)
- Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting and edits
- Strong attention to detail — must be able to catch typos, spacing, and design issues
- Reliable internet connection and consistent availability
- Good English communication skills
- Able to follow clear instructions and deliver on tight deadlines
Responsibility
- Stage marketing emails based on provided copy and assets (images, links, layouts, etc.)
- Ensure emails are correctly formatted, QA’d, and ready for review before send
- Upload content, segment audiences, and schedule sends in the email platform (e.g., Klaviyo, SendGrid, or similar)
- Check links, formatting, and responsive layouts before final approval
- Maintain organized records of campaigns and send schedules
