Jump Trading Group is seeking a Portfolio Finance Trader – SBL Specialist to join their Global Treasury Team. This role involves managing daily financing operations, supporting inventory management, and enhancing operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and programming, particularly in Python, and will work closely with various teams across the organization.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related areas
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Portfolio Finance, SBL Trading / Repo / Strats role covering major APAC markets
- Technically fluent in Python or other programming languages
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines
- Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibility
- Support APAC inventory management related daily tasks
- Handle full life cycle of firm’s stock borrowing process including execution and daily operations
- Follow borrow market, identify trading opportunities and secure hard-to-borrow and event names
- Develop and enhance desk models, tools and operational workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors
- Partner closely with Risk, Clearing and other trading teams in supporting daily trading activities
- Assist in the identification and development of new procedures and automation of processes
- Provide regional assistance for APAC portfolio finance requests and projects
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
