The Principal Trader at Kraken will play a pivotal role in expanding the OTC desk, focusing on client engagement, risk management, and strategic growth in the crypto trading space. The position is fully remote and involves working with a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a trader in the crypto or financial markets, particularly in OTC trading.
- Strong understanding of risk management practices in trading environments.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and counterparties.
- Experience in developing trading strategies and executing them effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibility
- Support and grow the OTC Spot and derivatives desks by defining strategy and execution for long-term growth.
- Engage with clients and develop business relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and institutional clients.
- Contribute to risk management practices across spot, options, and other derivatives by managing client flow and pricing effectively.
- Collaborate with technology teams to innovate and improve trading infrastructure.
- Drive strategy and execution for the OTC desk, ensuring competitive execution and settlement services.
