Engineering Director, GenAI Enterprise at Modular. Lead a new enterprise-focused GenAI team responsible for delivering a scalable platform that meets the unique needs of enterprise customers. You'll work across the full tech stack, closely with customers and product teams to research problems, demonstrate measurable value, and drive deployment and expansion.
Qualification
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role (Director/VP level) with a track record of building and scaling teams, preferably in AI or GenAI infrastructure.
- Strong experience delivering AI/GenAI platforms or AI-powered enterprise software.
- Extensive experience working with enterprise customers, translating requirements into technical and product deliverables.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior customer and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end customer outcomes, including deployment, adoption, and measurable value realization.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with product, design, sales, and customer success teams.
- Technical depth across the full stack relevant to AI platforms and deployment, with a strategic mindset and hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Responsibility
- Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for enterprise prospects and customers, diving deep into their unique challenges and requirements.
- Deliver and demonstrate real, measurable value of the Modular platform to customers through targeted production solutions.
- Own customer satisfaction by ensuring every solution your team delivers exceeds expectations and proves its worth.
- Collaborate with the product team to qualify and vet new prospects and support existing customers.
- Channel customer insights and feedback back to engineering and product teams, ensuring we stay ahead of real-world needs.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customer leadership and technical stakeholders, facilitating deployment and expansion of their applications.
- Lead the GenAI Enterprise team from the ground up, setting strategy, hiring, and guiding cross-stack engineering work to deliver across the full technology stack.
