Monad Foundation
The Monad Foundation is seeking a Motion Designer to enhance their brand's storytelling through animation. This role involves creating engaging motion graphics for various platforms, collaborating with design and content teams, and maintaining motion libraries. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and experience in motion design, particularly with tools like After Effects and Figma.
Qualification
- Proven motion design experience for brand, product, or marketing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, timing, and design craft.
- Strong foundation in After Effects, Lottie and handoff specifications with interest or experience in Figma, Rive, and AI tooling.
- Solid grasp of typography, layout, color, and animation principles.
- Comfortable collaborating with designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience building or maintaining motion libraries and reusable assets.
- Organized, adaptable, and curious about new tools and workflows.
- Thoughtful about accessibility and how motion can enhance clarity and user experience.
Responsibility
- Create high-quality motion and animation assets for campaigns, educational explainers, product demos, livestreams, and social media content.
- Develop animated logos, transitions, and brand motion that reinforce Monad’s visual identity.
- Design and animate event collateral, including graphics for conferences, hackathons, and community activations.
- Translate static design systems into polished, expressive animation with strong attention to timing, rhythm, and composition.
- Collaborate with the Design and Content Teams to ensure all motion aligns with Monad’s brand and creative direction.
- Contribute during early concept and storyboarding phases to help shape how ideas move.
- Build and maintain motion libraries and reusable assets for consistency and scalability.
- Stay current on trends and techniques in animation, design, and technology to bring fresh thinking to the team.
