Monks is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to work on high-stakes projects for innovative brands. The role involves shaping user experiences, producing UX deliverables, collaborating with UI and Engineering teams, and mentoring junior designers.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX design work and processes.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in UX design.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UI and Engineering.
Responsibility
- Join a dedicated project team as a Senior UX Designer.
- Bring fresh ideas to enhance content and interaction for projects.
- Propose concepts and adjustments to meet business and creative goals.
- Conceptualize work from a human experience perspective.
- Produce high-quality UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with UI and Engineering teams for design feasibility and smooth handoff.
- Understand content and information architecture for storytelling in UX work.
- Create clear briefings for visual designers and documentation for developers.
- Steer the UX direction, reporting to the UX Director and Lead, while mentoring junior designers.
- Lead workshop sessions for co-creation and ideation of concepts.
