Monks is seeking a Senior Collections Analyst to join their Finance team. The role involves managing accounts receivable, collections outreach, cash application, and process improvement. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance related field
- 4+ years of accounting/collections experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-paced environment
- Experience with accounting software (Netsuite) and Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibility
- Accurate cash application and ad hoc reconciliation
- Cross functional collaboration with Billing and Account Management teams
- Responding to client inquiries in a prompt manner
- Taking a proactive approach to collections
- Monitoring AR activity daily for non-payments and irregularities
- Identifying and escalating material Collections issues
- Develop and document process and procedure improvements
- Support the development of C&C team members
