The Human Factors Engineer will assess the operational effectiveness of AI systems, lead user engagement studies, and enhance human-AI teaming through iterative design processes and data analysis.
Qualification
- Experience in Human Factors Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Human-AI interaction
- Proficiency in data analysis and evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of iterative design processes
- Ability to conduct user engagement and knowledge elicitation studies
- Experience with Test and Evaluation methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibility
- Perform Human-Machine Teaming Test and Evaluation (HMT T&E) of Artificial Intelligence
- Lead user engagement studies and knowledge elicitation sessions
- Assess operational effectiveness and performance of AI systems
- Define metrics to evaluate Human-AI teaming effectiveness
- Recommend best practices and design mock-ups for user experience enhancement
- Evaluate human-AI performance under various operational conditions
- Tailor AI technical solutions for specific operational scenarios
