Finishing Operator
PFL
Finishing Operator at PFL, onsite in Livingston, MT, working night shifts (4x10s) to operate and maintain print-finishing equipment and convert print jobs into high-quality finished products, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, throughput, and on-time delivery. Compensation is $21.50 per hour with a $2.00 night differential.
Qualification
- High-volume production mindset with strong accuracy and process discipline.
- Ability to prioritize in a changing environment and meet throughput goals.
- Quick learner, practical problem-solver, able to work independently.
- Team-oriented, clear communicator, responsive to direct feedback.
- Basic math skills for measurements and counts.
- Experience setting up and operating finishing equipment (folder, cutter).
- Willingness to work the night shift (4x10s) at an onsite facility.
Responsibility
- Monitor electronic dashboards to prioritize print jobs and manage workflow.
- Review job tickets and verify specifications to ensure quality finished products.
- Set up and run finishing equipment (e.g., folder and cutter) to convert prints into finished pieces.
- Perform diligent and thorough completion of tasks to achieve optimal results.
- Keep work areas clean and complete end-of-shift cleanup.
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the finishing process.
- Maintain high-volume production discipline and adapt to changing throughput requirements.
