You'll blend strong visual design with product thinking, translating customer feedback into large-scale features delivered with engineering partners in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
Qualification
- Located in San Francisco or willing to relocate for in-person work.
- Very organized, hardworking, and fast.
- An interest in tinkering with the product and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to hand off designs to engineering within 7 days.
- Comfort collaborating with product and engineering throughout a project (no waterfall).
- Ability to navigate problem/solution space with cofounders and peers (no product managers).
- Strong visual design skills and the ability to generate high-fidelity mocks.
- Experience building or contributing to a design system.
- Ability to validate design choices with analytics.
Responsibility
- Own and elevate visual design while contributing to the overall product design direction for a complex B2B post-sales platform.
- Hand off designs to engineering within the first 7 days.
- Dig into customer problems and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering throughout projects (no waterfall processes).
- Navigate problem and solution spaces with cofounders and peers in the absence of a dedicated product manager.
- Communicate differing opinions and facilitate constructive design decisions.
- Think through broad user flows for new features and ensure cohesive UX across the product.
- Generate high-fidelity mocks and develop UI/UX concepts that scale with the product.
- Build up the design system in partnership with the design and engineering teams.
- Validate design choices using analytics to inform iterations.
