Reflect Orbital is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software for low-Earth orbit spacecraft. The role emphasizes ownership, fast-paced work, and collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure software reliability and mission success.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in C/C++ programming
- Demonstrated excellence in comparable software projects
- Experience with ARM microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms
- Strong debugging and unit testing skills
- Understanding of computer networking and fault-tolerant software design
Responsibility
- Develop reliable autonomous software systems for spacecraft
- Own all aspects of software development including design, implementation, testing, and release
- Implement software for command and data handling, guidance navigation and control, and fault detection
- Support on-orbit operations with ongoing development and over-the-air updates
- Collaborate with software, electrical, and mission operations engineers to meet mission needs
