Skydio, a leader in autonomous flight technology, is seeking a Product Designer to enhance user interaction with their drone systems. The role involves designing tools for various applications including inspection, construction, and public safety, leveraging AI and robotics.
Qualification
- Proven experience in product design, particularly for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering.
- Experience in designing for complex systems, preferably in technology or robotics.
Responsibility
- Lead the design process for core and new functionality for Skydio Cloud and Android based Ground Control Stations.
- Design tools for Fleet Management, Inspection & Mapping, Data Visualization, Annotation and Records Tools, Remote Operation, In-Flight Experience, AI Driven Missions, and Media Management.
- Conduct on-site visits with customers to understand their needs and use cases.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to develop AI-based tools that meet customer expectations.
- Guide other designers, engineers, and marketers in building the Skydio Design Language across cloud and mobile platforms.
