SpaceX is seeking a Data Engineer for the Starlink Growth Analytics & Automation Team to develop strategies, metrics, and tools for assessing the health of the Starlink business. The role involves extracting insights from data, optimizing customer acquisition, and utilizing machine learning and statistical technologies to drive growth.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, or a STEM discipline
- 1+ years of professional experience building solutions with Python and SQL
- 1+ years of professional experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
Responsibility
- Build high-visibility, high-confidence, statistically-based dashboards and analytics tools to uncover new or breaking trends in customer growth or experience.
- Transform insights into action items for business and engineering teams, based on statistically-driven evidence.
- Develop and implement monitoring systems and strategies to quickly detect trends and regressions as they arise.
- Work closely with software and production teams to optimize user experience.
- Develop and validate models to forecast customer acquisition.
