The Supervisor, Facilities (Starlink) at SpaceX is responsible for leading a team to maintain and enhance the infrastructure at the Starlink Production Facility in Bastrop, Texas. This role focuses on ensuring seamless operations, improving safety and efficiency, managing third-party service providers, and executing site improvement projects to support SpaceX's mission of global connectivity and future exploration.
Qualification
- Experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibility
- Lead the team responsible for all facilities operations including janitorial, landscaping, mechanics, HVAC, septic, water, trash, office supplies, build-outs, and general maintenance.
- Improve area safety and efficiency through regular auditing and continuous improvement.
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure services meet corporate standards and contract terms.
- Develop, plan, and execute site improvement projects in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage maintenance, repair, and installation of facilities-related infrastructure such as buildings, HVAC equipment, septic, and water infrastructure.
- Oversee facilities team, HVAC, and electrical technicians, driving performance through coaching and development.
- Prioritize tasks and projects effectively to drive departmental goals.
