Tandem is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to act as a finance architect and strategic partner to the executive team. This role involves leading financial planning and analysis, scenario modeling, and building a scalable finance operating model to support the company's rapid growth and expansion into new therapeutic areas. The position is based in New York and requires a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Qualification
- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and scenario modeling.
- Strong understanding of unit economics, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and provide actionable financial insights.
- Experience in building financial infrastructure and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Responsibility
- Develop and own the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) function, including the annual operating plan and quarterly re-forecast process.
- Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support leadership in evaluating pricing, GTM expansion, and funding strategy.
- Partner with go-to-market, product, and operations teams to define unit economics, margins, CAC, LTV, and other key growth metrics.
- Design and implement a scalable finance operating model, including chart of accounts and reporting cadence.
- Monitor cash flow, runway, and capital requirements; present options for funding and investment.
