Valerie Health is seeking a Founding Recruiter to lead and evolve their hiring function, focusing on technical recruiting for software engineering and other critical roles. The company is rapidly scaling and aims to modernize healthcare through AI, making this role pivotal in attracting top talent in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualification
- 3-8 years of experience in recruiting with at least 2+ years in an early stage, start-up environment
- Strong experience in sourcing and hiring high caliber technical talent, including senior hires
- Familiarity with using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Ashby preferred
- Strong understanding of recruiting data and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience hiring non-technical roles is a nice to have
Responsibility
- Own end-to-end recruiting across engineering and other key roles including sourcing, screening, designing interview plans, scheduling, and managing candidates
- Build relationships with hiring managers and develop recruiting strategies to hire the best talent in a structured and objective manner
- Develop and promote top of funnel strategies across sourcing, employer brand, and referrals to attract the best talent
- Maintain and analyze recruiting related data in the ATS, Ashby, and report on hiring progress
- Deliver a best in class candidate experience
