The role involves leading groups of travelers through South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana, ensuring memorable adventures while providing insights into the local culture and environment.
Qualification
- Fluency in German, French, or Dutch for client communication.
- Resident of South Africa, Namibia, or Botswana with a National Tour Guide license and PdP.
- Extensive knowledge of Southern Africa's flora, fauna, and history.
- Good understanding of German, French, or Dutch culture.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, engaging personality.
Responsibility
- Lead groups of travelers on 2-3 week trips across South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.
- Provide engaging and informative commentary on local flora, fauna, history, and culture.
- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for clients, treating them as friends.
- Manage group dynamics and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- Develop flexible solutions to challenges that may arise during trips.
