Vetcove is seeking a Design Engineer to enhance user experiences for their eCommerce and mobile platforms serving veterinary practices. The role involves collaboration with design teams to implement high-quality features and interactions, focusing on React and CSS. Vetcove is a Y Combinator-backed company aiming to modernize the animal health industry.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development
- Experience in building a professionally successful production application using React
- Strong skills in CSS and building complex interactions
- A portfolio of front end components or designs implemented
Responsibility
- Collaborate closely with product designers in designing new features
- Bring Figma designs to life by implementing modular, reusable React components
- Implement interactions using highly flexible and performant CSS code
- Experiment with animations and micro-interactions that are best prototyped through code
- Work closely with the front end engineering team to bridge front end logic with design
