Wander is seeking a Head of UX Research to establish and lead their research practice, focusing on enhancing guest experiences in the short-term rental industry. The role involves collaborating with various teams to translate research insights into actionable strategies that improve user satisfaction and retention.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in UX Research, preferably in consumer products, marketplaces, e-commerce, or travel.
- Proficient in using AI tools for various research tasks including planning, recruiting, and synthesis.
- Expertise in moderated and unmoderated testing, with strong facilitation skills.
- Fluency in tools such as UserTesting.com, Maze, Hotjar, and experience with other research tools like Lookback and Qualtrics.
- Strong organizational skills and systems thinking to manage complex research projects.
Responsibility
- Build the research function by defining strategy, operating model, and standards; create templates and an insights repository.
- Plan and execute studies end-to-end, including problem framing, method selection, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and storytelling.
- Conduct various research methods such as moderated/unmoderated usability tests, concept tests, qualitative interviews, and surveys.
- Triangulate insights from behavioral analytics and qualitative findings to provide prioritized recommendations.
- Scale research operations including participant panels, incentive workflows, and knowledge management.
- Translate research insights into product roadmaps with measurable outcomes, collaborating with Product and Design teams.
- Train non-researchers and provide toolkits to enhance research quality across the organization.
