The Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions (Merger & Carve-out) role is part of a rapidly growing Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, focusing on advising Private Equity and Corporate clients on complex transactions. The position requires strong business acumen and technical expertise, managing engagements through the entire transaction lifecycle, and delivering actionable recommendations aligned with client objectives.
Qualification
- Strong business acumen and technical expertise in M&A transactions.
- Experience in managing complex projects and engagements.
- Ability to deliver actionable recommendations aligned with client objectives.
- Knowledge of IT domains including business applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in cross-functional areas such as HR, Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing, and Operations.
Responsibility
- Manage engagements across the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, pre-close planning, and post-close integration and carve-out execution.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through concise, executive-ready deliverables.
- Ensure project milestones are met through effective project management and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the development of templates, frameworks, and deliverables to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage Technology workstream planning/execution or program management office overseeing multiple functions.
- Identify and mitigate risks, engage stakeholders, and ensure program success.
- Drive program economics, including budgeting and invoicing processes.
- Coordinate teams across internal M&A functions, external buyer/seller teams, and third-party vendors.
