Qualification
- Strong technical background in building production web applications
- Experience as a full stack or backend developer with Ruby
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a bonus
- Ability to write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries

- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor and raise the technical bar
Responsibility
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to solve customer problems
- Lead and decompose complex projects into actionable technical tasks
- Take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production
- Write performant, scalable, and secure backend code in Ruby on Rails
- Design and optimize data models and SQL queries using PostgreSQL
- Participate in code reviews and mentor fellow engineers
- Ensure code is well-tested and well-architected
- Actively improve tools, processes, and best practices
