ALSO is an electric mobility company focused on creating innovative small EVs to address global mobility challenges. The Vehicle Product Design Architecture, Integration Lead will oversee CAD assembly for a light vehicle platform, emphasizing occupant packaging and system integration.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and system integration, preferably in vehicle platforms.
- Expert in 3D CAD (preferably CATIA) with experience managing complex assemblies.
- Proficient in PLM systems and workflows.
- Demonstrated experience designing and integrating major vehicle sub-systems.
Responsibility
- Own the top-level CAD assembly of a very light four-wheeled vehicle platform.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers and industrial design to resolve packaging and interface issues.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment through design reviews and clash management.
- Drive system integration workflows and timelines in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Support the transition from prototype to production with organized documentation and coordination with manufacturing.
