They are seeking a Navigation Engineer to apply navigation and estimation techniques to autonomous vehicles, particularly in the context of aerospace navigation systems.
Qualification
- Experience applying navigation and estimation techniques to autonomous vehicles
- Expertise in low-cost sensor considerations and robotics-focused pose localization techniques
- Strong understanding of Inertial Navigation Systems (INS)
- Familiarity with sensor fusion algorithms and pose estimation methods
- Experience in conducting lab, motion, and flight tests
Responsibility
- Analyze and help develop mission requirements and constraints across the Anduril product portfolio to determine optimal navigation system architecture
- Support and drive the evaluation and integration of advanced alternative navigation aiding sources (prepare, support, and conduct lab, motion, and flight tests)
- Support flight testing to measure & validate navigation performance relative to mission requirements and troubleshoot testing and operational anomalies
- Implement Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) while leveraging sensor fusion algorithms and pose estimation methods for precise navigation of aerospace vehicles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of navigation systems into various platforms
