Beam is seeking a Director of People Ops to lead and develop its people strategy, ensuring a supportive and thriving culture as the company scales. This role involves collaboration with the CEO and leadership team to attract and retain values-aligned talent, manage employee lifecycle processes, and oversee HR compliance and compensation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR leadership within fast-growing or mission-driven organizations, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.

Qualification

  • 6+ years of experience in People/HR roles
  • 3+ years in a leadership or strategic HRBP capacity
  • Proven track record in building or scaling people functions
  • Experience designing equitable compensation and growth pathways
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws
  • Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Strong project management skills

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute Beam’s holistic people strategy aligned with company goals and values
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on organizational design and talent planning
  • Own the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Design and run performance management and career development systems
  • Coach managers to enhance leadership skills and support learning initiatives
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR compliance
  • Select and manage people systems to support efficiency and scalability
