Chewy is looking for a Senior Construction Owner's Representative to manage high-impact construction projects across fulfillment centers, corporate offices, and pharmacy spaces. The role involves end-to-end project delivery, coordination with internal and external partners, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- Proven experience in construction project management or as an Owner’s Representative.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with diverse audiences.
- Ability to navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions.
- Experience in budget tracking, forecasting, and management of construction projects.
Responsibility
- Own and drive end-to-end project delivery including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
- Coordinate with internal collaborators and external partners to meet project goals.
- Resolve complex construction challenges involving cost, safety, quality, and timeline tradeoffs.
- Navigate through ambiguity and find opportunities to improve construction methodologies, processes, and systems.
- Act as Owners Representative to manage contractors on-site performance and safety policies.
- Transition projects from external partners to internal Launch teams.
- Ensure contracted resources deliver work per contract terms to meet duration and quality targets.
- Identify and resolve clashes, design misses, and schedule conflicts with other execution teams.
