Chewy is looking for a Senior Analyst/Economist specializing in Ads Budget Optimization to enhance their Advertising team. The role involves designing quantitative frameworks for efficient budget allocation across various advertising channels, utilizing optimization models and incrementality insights to drive growth and improve advertiser outcomes.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in data science, quantitative marketing, adtech optimization, or portfolio management.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Strong background in econometrics, optimization, and statistical analysis.
- Technical proficiency in R, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex models into actionable insights for business partners.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Responsibility
- Build and maintain allocation models for optimizing budgets across onsite and offsite advertising.
- Develop and run experiments to measure incrementality and cross-channel trade-offs.
- Collaborate with Demand teams to translate model outputs into actionable budget allocation decisions.
- Work with Supply teams to incorporate inventory dynamics into budget optimization.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to maximize advertiser outcomes and support long-term growth.
- Contribute to the automation of allocation models by collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.
