The Sr. Manager, Commissions FP&A role is a strategic position within the GTM Finance team, focusing on earned commission planning, forecasting, reporting, and compensation plan design. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and to provide insights on commission payouts and performance. Qualification
- 7+ years of progressive GTM, GTM Finance, or related finance experience in a high-growth enterprise SaaS or Consumption business.
- Expertise in building robust financial models in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with sales compensation design and associated financial modeling.
- Proficient in SQL for leveraging top-line forecasts.
- Advanced understanding of commissions-related accounting, including capitalization, amortization, and cash flow impacts.
Responsibility
- Lead the GTM Finance team’s earned commission planning, forecasting, and reporting/analytics.
- Partner with Sales Compensation Strategy and Sales Strategy during annual planning and design.
- Facilitate the monthly accrual process in collaboration with Accounting.
- Deliver analytics around compensation plan attainment to GTM Finance business partners.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and make recommendations for mid-year investments and compensation plan modifications.
