Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive - Expansion to prospect, win, and expand strategic enterprise customers in Indonesia, focusing on new logos and expanding existing accounts by selling Datadog's cloud-based observability solutions to large organizations while delivering measurable ROI.
Qualification
- 3+ years closing experience (field selling within mid-market or enterprise)
- Proven ability to meet/exceed direct sales goals of 1M+ with an average deal size of 100k+
- Proven track record of expanding an existing set of business and growing enterprise accounts
- Able to prospect and build pipeline independently
- Experience in selling SaaS/IT infrastructure or similar for innovative tech companies
- Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos
- Willingness to sit and travel up to 4 hours to client sites and travel up to 70% of the time
- Ability to travel by auto, train or air as needed
Responsibility
- Prospect into a territory of new logos while running an efficient sales process
- Maintain, build and own relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
- Expand and grow existing territory of accounts via cross sell and upsell
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business and IT environment
- Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
- Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into the assigned territory
- Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges and craft creative solutions to close deals
- Identify a robust set of business drivers behind opportunities and maintain accurate forecasting
- Contribute to high forecast accuracy and meet/exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management
- Travel as required to client sites and manage in-person engagements to close deals
