The role involves sourcing and developing interactive IP integrations with athletes, teams, and leagues, while also supporting cultural efforts with brands and talent. Qualification
- Proven experience in business development and partnership management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of the gaming industry and experience with interactive IP.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent the company at major events.
- Creative deal-making skills and the ability to translate ideas into actionable strategies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibility
- Lead day-to-day engagement with external partners to understand their goals and ensure campaign elements reflect partner objectives and Epic’s brand standards.
- Act as Epic’s external face within the sports industry, developing relationships with leagues, talent agencies, athletes, and brand partners, and representing Epic at industry events.
- Partner closely with Product and Consumer teams to align partnership initiatives with Epic’s broader objectives, influencing product strategy and outcomes.
- Collaborate with development and creative teams to pitch and translate sports partnership ideas into compelling gameplay offerings across titles like Fortnite and Rocket League.
- Source, develop, and execute interactive IP integrations with top global sports elements.
