Manager, Finance at Peak Altitude responsible for developing the financial plan and financial reporting, and supporting due diligence and integration for PDE acquisitions. Partners with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, IT, and internal audit to ensure GAAP compliance, accurate reporting, and effective internal controls as the organization grows.
Qualification
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and purchase accounting.
- Experience supporting due diligence and integration for acquisitions.
- Ability to coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and Tax across the organization; cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience assisting auditors and responding to audit requests.
- Ability to design or implement internal control frameworks around financial reporting processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with finance teams and senior leadership.
- Adaptability to potential future team growth and a strong contributor in an evolving environment.
Responsibility
- Review financial information, including financial statements and management reports, for Peak Altitude.
- Manage the process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results for Peak Altitude.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and guidance to ensure Peak Altitude remains compliant.
- Identify relevant GAAP accounting standards for financial reporting, purchase accounting, and integration activities to establish/maintain policies.
- Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
- Establish strong working relationships with PDE finance and other senior leaders to promote transparency in financial reporting.
- Assist with ad hoc requests and other duties related to financial reporting and analysis as assigned.
- Support the Finance Department’s due diligence process for potential acquisition opportunities identified for Peak Altitude.
- Advise and/or support PDE in transitioning from cash to GAAP accounting, as applicable.
- Evaluate data and process needs to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting for PDE and Peak Altitude.
- Liaise with F&G FP&A, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and Tax to ensure all F&G financial reporting needs are met for all PDE.
- Collaborate with F&G Internal Audit & Financial Controls to identify and implement, as necessary, an internal control framework around the financial reporting process of the PDE and within Peak Altitude.
- Work with F&G Accounting and IT to support financial reporting processes.
