Formlabs is seeking a Startup Founder to act as a mini-CEO, responsible for rapidly identifying, developing, and scaling new product lines and ventures. The role emphasizes leadership, product strategy, and business outcomes in a dynamic environment focused on digital manufacturing.
Qualification
- Proven Entrepreneurial Experience: Previous experience building a business or significant venture, ideally in technology startups.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to create and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Results-focused mindset with a bias for action and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience in product strategy and vision development.
- Ability to drive business outcomes and manage P&L results.
Responsibility
- Define Product Strategy & Vision: Create products and services that define the future of digital manufacturing by identifying unmet user needs and high-potential market gaps.
- Own Business Outcomes: Drive P&L results by identifying new market opportunities and scaling existing business units.
- Build & Lead: Create and lead multi-disciplinary teams of talented engineers, operators, and designers, while hiring and mentoring future leaders.
- Take Decisive Action: Make crucial, high-stakes decisions that impact core technology and business trajectory.
- Embrace the Ambiguity: Work at the intersection of complex disciplines (engineering, sales, manufacturing, marketing) and take full ownership to get the job done.
