Genius Sports is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to oversee the management and optimization of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems. This role involves leading a small team, collaborating with IT and finance stakeholders, and ensuring the systems meet business requirements. The position is part of the Global Finance team and reports to the Head of Finance Transformation.
Qualification
- Workday Financials Certified
- Fully qualified accountant
- Experience in leading teams in a global context
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibility
- Manage and maintain Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning in a controlled environment
- Lead the Finance Systems team, motivating and developing team members
- Provide technical assistance for core financial processes
- Build and maintain relationships with Finance team and global stakeholders
- Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders
- Stay updated on Workday updates
- Advise on system enhancements for Finance and Business
- Run pilots for new functionality/system changes
- Optimize processes for measurable outcomes
- Facilitate user self-service
- Communicate system changes to users
- Develop a training strategy for users
- Oversee relationships with third-party providers for Workday support
