The company is seeking a Polish-speaking Accountant to join their Accounting team in Barcelona. The role involves managing the month-end closing process for Polish entities, ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable reporting standards, and collaborating with various finance teams to prepare reports and manage financial processes.
Qualification
- Fluency in Polish and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibility
- Lead and complete the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain paperwork for the monthly accruals as required as a part of the monthly financial reporting process.
- Maintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Review income statements and balance sheets.
