The Senior Legal Counsel for Tunisia and Ivory Coast will lead legal functions in these regions, collaborating with local teams and the HQ legal team to manage day-to-day business implications. The role involves reviewing commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting corporate governance and strategic initiatives within a fast-growing multi-category app company.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a legal counsel in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and regulations in Tunisia and Ivory Coast
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in collaborating with external law firms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in French and English
Responsibility
- Report to the Africa Head of Legal in all related functions
- Be the main responsible for Ivory Coast and Tunisia legal functions
- Elaborate, review and analyze all types of commercial agreements
- Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with external law firms
- Support in the analysis and implementation of strategies
- Support in the implementation of corporate governance policies and reporting functions
- Participate in due diligence, evaluate risks, and elaborate corporate documentation
- Address and resolve legal problems as they arise
