This remote position focuses on engineering and deploying advanced storage technologies, particularly Ceph, to support internal applications and private cloud environments. The role involves architecting scalable storage solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualification
- 4+ years of professional Ceph experience, architecting and building Ceph clusters from the ground up.
- 4+ years of experience in Ceph storage deployment, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, integration, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Strong dev/ops skills with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Experience working in a large-scale Linux environment.
- Familiarity with open-source projects related to storage technologies.
Responsibility
- Architect and build Ceph clusters from the ground up, creating robust and scalable storage solutions.
- Engineer, deploy, and maintain the next generation of Ceph storage technologies.
- Manage a large-scale Linux environment, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
