They are seeking a Controls and Monitoring Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the development of standards for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across their data centre projects, ensuring compliance and promoting continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and hyperscaler requirements
- Ability to lead and promote continuous improvement in engineering practices
- Experience in data centre development projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibility
- Define and maintain programme-wide standards, templates, procedures, and best practices for BMS and EPMS systems
- Ensure alignment with local regulations, hyperscaler requirements, and Goodman protocols
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in controls engineering
- Support programme and project levels design managers for definition of controls and monitoring scope of work per each phase
- Actively participate in multiple data centre and substation projects from concept to end of detail design
- Review consultant deliverables for safety, scope compliance, spatial coordination, constructability, and maintainability
- Conduct technical bid review for General Contractor and main equipment vendors
