Goodman is seeking a Technical Development Manager to lead technical due diligence, building design, permitting processes, and construction management as the company transitions into an integrated real estate and energy services business. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong technical background in construction and project management.
Qualification
- Master's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects
- Experience in power, energy, or utility projects is a plus
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and financial acumen
Responsibility
- Assess the technical potential of landbank opportunities
- Perform technical and environmental due diligence on brownfield sites
- Lead technical design of new building concepts such as datacenters and logistics real estate
- Collaborate with customers, architects, and stakeholders in the building design process
- Drive the permitting process and negotiate with local authorities
- Lead contractor tendering and manage construction projects end-to-end
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and cost estimates
- Support power and energy-related works, including grid upgrades and new energy infrastructure
