The Grid Integration Project Engineer will play a crucial role in collaborating with customers and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution and product deployment.
Qualification
- Electrical Engineer with a deep background in deploying or designing MW-scale electrical equipment and/or installations
- Experience with MV distribution design and protection systems
- Strong understanding of the electrical infrastructure project development lifecycle
- Awareness of interconnection processes and guidelines for large sources or loads
- Experience delivering MW-scale projects from concept to commissioned and operating on the grid
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibility
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project needs and act as the 'voice of the customer'
- Work with the forward deployed engineering team to gather customer requirements and propose technical solutions
- Deploy Heron’s first pilot projects both internally and with customers
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the product lifecycle
- Troubleshoot technical or integration issues and seek timely resolution
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to ensure product competitiveness
