Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue and manage accounts within mid-sized commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in government sectors, and will be responsible for prospecting, account management, and coordinating with marketing efforts.

Qualification

  • 10+ years of successful quota attainment selling experience
  • Experience in Central government ministries and state government
  • Ability to provide a high degree of account management and control
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire for a career-oriented environment that is both fun and professional
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships

Responsibility

  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting to develop opportunities in mid-sized commercial accounts
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of Hitachi Vantara products through strong account management
  • Prospect for and qualify leads and develop new customers in conjunction with channel partners
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports for management
  • Develop account and closing plans
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects
  • Coordinate with Field Marketing to develop and execute regional events
