Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue and manage accounts within mid-sized commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in government sectors, and will be responsible for prospecting, account management, and coordinating with marketing efforts.
Qualification
- 10+ years of successful quota attainment selling experience
- Experience in Central government ministries and state government
- Ability to provide a high degree of account management and control
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire for a career-oriented environment that is both fun and professional
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships
Responsibility
- Conduct sales activities including prospecting to develop opportunities in mid-sized commercial accounts
- Ensure successful rollout and adoption of Hitachi Vantara products through strong account management
- Prospect for and qualify leads and develop new customers in conjunction with channel partners
- Prepare activity and forecast reports for management
- Develop account and closing plans
- Build and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects
- Coordinate with Field Marketing to develop and execute regional events
