The Account Executive role at HitPay involves managing inbound sales and merchant activation for new businesses. The ideal candidate should have experience in payments or fintech sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping merchants grow using HitPay's unified commerce and payments platform.
Qualification
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, merchant onboarding, or activation within payments, fintech, or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, e-commerce plugins, and POS terminals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable engaging with SMB clients across digital channels (email, chat, video calls).
- Highly motivated, metrics-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
- Engage and qualify inbound leads across online and in-person payment products.
- Conduct product demos, understand merchant needs, and recommend the right HitPay solutions.
- Guide merchants through onboarding, activation, and initial transactions to ensure a smooth start.
- Maintain high conversion rates from sign-up to activation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Compliance) to improve the inbound funnel.
- Track lead performance, conversion metrics, and feedback to optimize processes.
- Stay current on payment trends and competitive offerings in the region.
