HitPay is a payments infrastructure platform based in Singapore, focused on empowering small and medium-sized businesses in Southeast Asia. The Business Development Executive role in the Philippines aims to drive the growth of HitPay's payment terminal business by building merchant adoption and expanding partnerships.
Qualification
- Based in the Philippines with strong knowledge of local SMB and payments landscape.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in fintech, payments, POS, or related industries).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving product adoption.
- Strong relationship-building skills with both merchants and channel partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (English required; Tagalog a plus).
- Self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, reporting, and pipeline management.
Responsibility
- Drive adoption of HitPay payment terminals among SMBs across retail, F&B, and services.
- Prospect, pitch, and close new merchant accounts, focusing on high-potential segments.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to achieve growth targets.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, resellers, and ecosystem partners to expand reach.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships that increase distribution of payment terminals.
- Understand merchant pain points in the Philippines and position HitPay’s payment terminals as a differentiated solution.
- Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights on pricing, promotions, and positioning.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for payment terminals.
