Senior Costing leader responsible for developing and evolving the costing strategy, leading a cost team, ensuring on-time and accurate costing information, and driving long-term costing planning with cross-functional collaboration across development, materials, and production in a manufacturing context.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in costing, cost management, budgeting, or FP&A with a track record of leadership.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with experience in cost analysis and cost forecasting.
- Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team and drive cost-reduction initiatives across functions.
- Experience with costing systems/ERP and data analytics tools; advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization is a plus.
- Ability to develop and implement long-term costing plans and roadmaps; strong planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Professional certification such as CPA/CMA or equivalent is preferred; manufacturing/production experience is a plus.
Responsibility
- Support development, implementation and constant evolution of the Costing strategy.
- Lead and manage the costing team on all operational and tactical issues to ensure that target FOB are achieved and on time costing information are properly completed by deadline.
- Review the existing costing process and explore opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain the long term costing planning.
- Provide analytical recommendations on process enhancements.
- Support other business units like development, materials, production.
