Monks is seeking a deeply technical and innovative Front End Developer to join a specialized team responsible for migrating high-visibility marketing pages for a major global technology client. The role involves transitioning from a legacy static HTML environment to a modern, scalable React-based architecture with Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
Qualification
- Senior-level mastery of React (Lifecycles, Hooks, Custom Hooks) and TypeScript.
- Experience with Headless CMS integration and JSON schemas.
- Strong understanding of component architecture and development best practices.
- Ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations and optimize for performance.
- Experience in working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Responsibility
- Design and build a library of shared, atomic, and composable UI components using React and TypeScript.
- Develop components that programmatically consume JSON data from the API, decoupling content from presentation.
- Lead the migration of existing pages from legacy builds to the new data-driven architecture.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for components using Storybook.
- Ensure strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and SEO technical requirements.
- Collaborate with QA to resolve defects within a 24-hour SLA.
