Customer Success Manager - Commercial at Skydio, a leading drone company focused on autonomous flight. Qualification

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success or account management in B2B/enterprise technology or hardware.
  • Proven track record in implementing customers, onboarding, adoption, and retention programs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading pilots/proofs-of-concept and driving technical validation.
  • Solid program/project management skills with the ability to build scalable processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; interest or experience in drones/UAS or autonomy is a plus.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and onboarding for commercial customers in utility and emerging industries.
  • Drive adoption, usage, retention, and expansion; own customer health and success metrics.
  • Serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between customers and Product, Engineering, and Sales to deliver autonomous UAV solutions.
  • Build scalable onboarding and post-sales processes; develop playbooks and enablement materials for customer success.
  • Manage pilots, proofs-of-concept, and technical validation activities to win customer confidence.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify expansion opportunities and ensure successful renewals and long-term value.
  • Provide world-class onboarding and technical expertise; deliver customer training and enablement.
  • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with Product for continuous improvement.
