About the Role
We are looking for a Brand Designer to help us shape how Tandem is presented to the world. You'll elevate our brand through craft, clarity, and originality—contributing to how Tandem looks, feels, and communicates as we scale. You'll design robust visual systems, lead art direction, and craft surfaces that prioritize brand and product storytelling.
This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. We expect sharp product thinking, high craftsmanship, and the ability to ask the right questions to get to the why. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Tandem's success. What You'll Do
- Shape how Tandem looks, feels, and communicates—owning our visual identity across brand, web, and product
- Create work with a level of craft and attention to detail that sets the standard for the team
- Define a strategy for a scaling brand, bringing a systems mindset and always thinking across surfaces and channels
- Bring strategic instinct to every project, connecting individual design decisions to broader brand goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build upon great ideas by making things real
We'll Be Most Excited If You Have
- 5+ years of experience leading and designing interactive brand experiences
- Excellent visual craft, interaction design, and art direction, with a strong instinct for motion
- A track record of independently delivering work as well as influencing the work of other designers, contractors, and agencies
- The kind of eye for detail and love for the craft that shows up in everything you touch
