Qualification
- 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership, or corporate development roles, ideally in automotive, technology, or transportation industries.
- Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and negotiating agreement terms.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work collaboratively with internal and partner contacts.
- Experience with Automotive OEM or Tier 1 companies.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with technical, contractual, and financial issues.
Responsibility
- Develop partnership and business development strategy based on research and understanding of Waymo’s goals.
- Manage automotive partner relationships from outreach to deal signing and ongoing management.
- Lead partnership negotiations and first-of-a-kind deals critical for business initiatives.
- Support large, complex deals with significant operational impact.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, operations, marketing, and finance teams to support automotive partnerships.
