Qualification

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership, or corporate development roles, ideally in automotive, technology, or transportation industries.
  • Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and negotiating agreement terms.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work collaboratively with internal and partner contacts.
  • Experience with Automotive OEM or Tier 1 companies.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with technical, contractual, and financial issues.

Responsibility

  • Develop partnership and business development strategy based on research and understanding of Waymo’s goals.
  • Manage automotive partner relationships from outreach to deal signing and ongoing management.
  • Lead partnership negotiations and first-of-a-kind deals critical for business initiatives.
  • Support large, complex deals with significant operational impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, operations, marketing, and finance teams to support automotive partnerships.
