Crusoe is seeking a Senior Category Manager for Storage to lead the commercial and supply chain strategy for their AI Cloud infrastructure. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with OEMs, and architecting a robust supply chain to support global expansion. The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment with technical roadmaps.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in category management or supply chain strategy, particularly in storage solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
- Ability to analyze market trends and provide strategic insights for procurement decisions.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and operations teams to align procurement strategies with technical roadmaps.
Responsibility
- Develop multi-year sourcing strategies for storage hardware including all-flash/hybrid arrays and key components.
- Lead complex negotiations with key storage OEMs and ODMs to secure favorable pricing and supply agreements.
- Design and implement a robust supply chain model for storage hardware, including demand forecasting and inventory strategy.
- Serve as the internal expert on the storage market, providing insights on technology trends and competitive landscape.
- Manage relationships with critical storage suppliers and lead executive quarterly business reviews.
