Airwallex is hiring an Associate Account Executive / Account Executive for the SEA region to drive new SME business. The role is part of a Global Sales Hub based in Bangalore, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing, onboarding, and activation while collaborating with regional leadership to accelerate revenue growth.
Qualification
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS/fintech sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end sales cycles for SME customers, including lead generation, discovery, proposal, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and activation.
- Strong outbound sales skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage a healthy pipeline in a defined territory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with a strong ownership mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics; data-driven approach to forecasting and pipeline management.
- Comfort working across SEA time zones and collaborating with global teams (e.g., Bangalore-based hub).
Responsibility
- Own the full sales cycle for SME prospects in the SEA region, from lead sourcing and qualification through discovery, solutioning, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and activation.
- Lead outbound prospecting efforts to build and maintain a healthy pipeline that consistently meets or exceeds revenue targets.
- Conduct discovery, tailor Airwallex’s product suite to customer needs, present solutions, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Manage onboarding and adoption post-close to ensure successful implementation and time-to-value for customers.
- Collaborate with regional sales leadership and cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success) to align on strategy and drive revenue growth.
- Operate within the assigned region’s time zone and independently own territory, including pipeline generation and deal execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast pipeline, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
