The Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer will ensure high-quality product testing and improve production throughput while solving complex testing challenges and enhancing automation and data analytics.
Qualification
- Experience in manufacturing test engineering or related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical issues.
- Knowledge of test automation and data analytics.
- Ability to generate clear and concise documentation and work instructions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in engineering and manufacturing.
Responsibility
- Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.
- Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system level checkouts to key component level in-process validation.
- Improve and sustain existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage.
- Generate test work instructions for technicians and train them on equipment use as required.
- Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides for fast issue resolution.
- Determine root cause of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions (RCCA).
- Work with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis.
- Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports to identify defects and areas for improvement.
